Hard Luck Mule Skinner 2014

Betty has been coming to Mule Days for many years, at first to watch her granddaughter compete, but in the last few years she has been showing her pretty little red roan molly, Josie, who was purchased right here in Bishop. Betty says, “She is the best investment I ever made!” She shows in halter, trail and gambler’s choice, as well as the Parade. She also rides quite a bit at her ranch along Poso Creek near Bakersfield, California.

Regarding her mishap in 2014, she shares: “These things just happen. I want to thank everyone who helped me when I got hurt. I’m back in the saddle and looking forward to another year at Bishop Mule Days with Josie!” With such a great heart and attitude we know we’ll have fun watching Betty again this year!
