Bishop Mule Days Alternative Lodging Options
As the Bishop Mule Days Celebration gets ready to put on the 48th year of the greatest mule show on earth, we are already looking forward to our 50th anniversary. For years, the Mule Days Executive Board has been aware of customer concerns regarding the availability of lodging in Bishop during Memorial Weekend, and realize those concerns may be greater going into our 50th anniversary in 2019. Customer satisfaction is a priority with the Mule Days Committee, and we believe that your ability to find lodging is an important part of your Mule Days experience. Mule Days encourages all of our attendees to book early and patronize the services available in Bishop, but we also feel as a partner in the Eastern Sierra community we have a responsibility to make our customers aware of all options when looking for lodging.
Mule Days recently inquired with the Mammoth Lakes Lodging Association as to what lodging alternatives are available in Mammoth Lakes. Mule Days discovered that Mammoth Lakes (35 minutes north of Bishop) offers a wide range of lodging options that include family oriented condo rentals to luxury hotels, and everything in between. Mule Days also inquired into motels in Big Pine (15 minutes south of Bishop) and a limited number of rooms are also available.
