Kids! Want to learn the art of packin’ mules?

Our wildly successful youth program will look a bit different this year. For 2021 we will focus on the safest, socially-distanced activity you can do: learning how to pack mules! We have learned that packing in the high country is good for you – being outdoors in the fresh air, naturally ‘socially distanced’ and free of any ‘exposure’ to modern 21st-century problems!

Join us in a Junior Packer’s Workshop learning how to pack a mule and preparing for a life in the out-of-doors! Do you want to learn how? Join a young lady packer, who from her youngest days, has learned about “packin’ mules and ridin’ long days on the trail!”  Carissa Perrault will be organizing a youth packing workshop for kids 13 and under who want to give packing a try! You don’t have to know anything about packing or mules – just come, learn and have fun. There might even be a bit of good ol’ packer competition thrown in for good measure!

For more information, check out the sign-up booth outside the souvenir store during Mule Days. Information flyers and sign-up sheets will be available. We hope kids will join Carissa and learn all about the fun times to be had packing mules!
